Elliot Holtzman

Elliot is an Eagle Scout and has been learning wilderness skills for several years. His interest in nature began when he was young and grew through the Trackers program. The Trackers was a group for home schoolers started by his mother, April. Elliot later joined the Boy Scouts at age 13 and eventually got his Eagle when he was 18.

Besides participating in Trackers and Boy Scouts, Elliot has attended the Tom Brown Coyote Camp and The Art of Mentoring Classes. He has also traveled to wilderness gatherings across the country such as the Moccasin Meet, the Earth Knack's Gathering, the River Cane and Falling Leaves Rendezvous. It was at these classes and gatherings that Elliot learned the majority of his survival skills.

Elliot has gained plenty of knowledge about wildlife by participating in both the 4H and the FFA programs. He has also been apart of the Wildlife Habitat Evaluation Program, his team won the state competition and went on to compete in the nationals held in Virginia where they placed thirteenth overall.

Outside of the camp, Elliot has started his own business called Elliot's Odds and Ends. He builds fences and decks and completes any other job whether it be large or small. He has also begun working with 911 Wildlife, a humane pest control company that deals with the removal of mammals from peoples' homes and businesses. Like his brothers, Elliot enjoys trucks and off roading! He is always rebuilding and improving at least one project vehicle.
