Class Description
Time for Mom's and mature females to gather for crafts, outdoor skills, fun & fellowship. This is meant to be a creative "sharing" get-away for women.
This is just the schedule we will be striving to present so that you get the idea what the Gathering is all about. If you would like to help teach a craft, or lead any creative activity, it would fit into the "sharing" that we are striving for. Plus you'll get a discounted rate. Call me to let me know what you want to share. So think about your passions and if you would be willing to share them with other women, inspire someone!
Bring your own lunches & snacks plus plate, bowl, mug and utensils. We like to keep the earth clean by not using disposables, including napkins and paper towels.
We have some tents to rent or bring your own. If enough people are interested in setting up the tipi we can have a big PJ party in one, sleeps 15. Let us know if you are interested in tipi sleeping. Don't forget your sleeping bag, plus optional air mattress or cot for added comfort. (We have a pump to blow up air mattresses)
Immerse yourself in nature by swimming in the pond, great way to cool off too. Our outdoor solar showers are available to wash in. Swim suits, towels, and your personal shampoo, soap, tooth brush etc.
A camp chair if you want, we do have picnic tables and benches to sit on. Bring anything to make you comfortable, this is not a primitive survival camp.
Please NO PETS. Evening alcohol is permitted for mature women only, BYOB.
More detailed information on crafts being offered and equipment needed will be sent upon registration.
Note: This gathering meets some requirements for the Cadette & Senior Girl Scout projects Artistic Crafts, Folk Arts, and Textile Arts
