Length of Time: Begins Sat Morning at 9:30 and ending Sunday Afternoon at 2:30 pm.
Pre-requisite: Primitive Survival Skills Classes 1 and 2
Class Description
You have learned about the Survival Sacred Order and now are ready for the next step in your primitive skills. Taking it to the next level, will give you alternates, we call it PRIMITIVE LIVING SKILLS. If you happen to get yourself into a survival situation that gets prolonged, these skills would make your stay in the wilderness more comfortable. They would be also useful if you just wanted to live more closely to the earth on a day to day basis, appreciating the earth and all it's bountiful gifts it has to offer. One just has to learn to "see" and then have the knowledge to use in a caretaker manner what nature provides for us all.
Topics to be covered:
- Aidless Navigation - lost prevention skills
- Debris hut additions
- Hand drill - fire starting method
- Tracking - taking it to the next level
- Hunting techniques
- Cooking and eating utensils
- Pelt processing - using the gift from the animal
- Nature awareness activities
Dinner and Sunday breakfast will be provided, along with fun skill activities. Please bring your own lunches and if spending the night, your own camping equipment ie , tent, sleeping bag, plate, bowl, cup, and utensils. Camp chairs and flashlights are also nice to have but not a necessity.
Vegetarian Fare Available like at all our camps, just let us know.
We have a swimming pond and outdoor showers, so bring provisions to enjoy. Also a camp chair and flash light are nice to have but not a necessity.

NOTE : All classes have a minimum number of registrants to make or sorry to say it will be cancelled. So bring your friends and tell everyone you know. Some classes are listed but are not currently on the schedule for the upcoming year. If your group has an interest we can schedule a date for you.
