Length of Time: 9am Monday to 3pm Friday (5 days, 4 nights)
Class Description
This is a nature awareness summer camp for kids that will cover some survival skills. The objective of this camp is to connect children with nature in a fun sharing environment. It will be structured for fun learning, with plenty of games, and creativity. For ages 9 to 14ish. Health minded meals will be provided, vegetarian fare available. This camp has a limit of 25 so be sure to register early. Outdoor solar showers will be available.

- Knowing your knots
- Tree hugging and identification
- Outdoor cooking
- Native American Folklore
- Learning bird language
- Farm animals
- Fishing basics
- Hay ride
- Archery
- Crafts
Boy and Girl TiPis will be set-up in different areas. Counselors will be with campers 24-7.

Things NOT to bring to camp: cell phones, radios, CD players, hand held electronic games, fireworks & cigarettes.
Note: This camp meets requirements for Boy Scout MB: Fishing, Forestry, Indian Lore, Pottery, Basketry & Camping. This camp also meets requirements for Girl Scout Projects: (Juniors) Camp Together, Finding Your Way, Hiker, Horse Fan, Outdoor Cook, Outdoor Creativity, Outdoor Fun, Small Craft, Water Fun, Ceramics & Clay, Sky Search, Yarn & Fabric Arts, Your Outdoor Surroundings, Jeweler, (Cadette & Seniors) Camping, "Paddle, Pole & Role", & Space Exploration.
We have a swimming pond, so bring provisions to enjoy.
NOTE : All classes have a minimum number of registrants to make or sorry to say it will be cancelled. So bring your friends and tell everyone you know. Some classes are listed but are not currently on the schedule for the upcoming year. If your group has an interest we can schedule a date for you.
Large Family Rates are available.
