Horsing Around Summer Camp

Girls Horse (Ages 12-15) - Jun 10th-19th 2012

For the 9-13 year olds, both girls and boys, we offer the Horse Summer and Spring Break Camp session called Western Days.

Costs: $420 includes all meals, t-shirt, and more riding than you ever dreamed of. $150 deposit needed to save your space.  Discount given if you bring your own horse, arrangements can be made for a limited number of horses.                                                                         

Length of Time: 

  Girls Horse : Arrive the first day at 9:30am and camp ends 3pm on the last day.

Class Description

Do you love horses?, then this is the camp for you. For four full days you will be able to indulge yourself in our for legged friends, leading, grooming, riding and riding and riding. Proper posture, cueing and gaits will be worked on. Obstacle Courses will be used to make it fun and interesting while at the same time will measure your progress. Then lots of trail rides!

This is for ages 12 years old and up who have had some experience with horses and are not afraid of them. Time to pretend that you have a horse of your own for a little while.

Limited to 6-8 horse lovers. Outdoor solar showers will be available.

Bring your bed roll and boots and be ready to ride.

Girl Scout troop with a minimum of 6 can book this camp on another date, and receive a group rate discount.

We have a swimming pond, so bring provisions to enjoy.

NOTE : All classes have a minimum number of registrants to make or sorry to say it will be cancelled. So bring your friends and tell everyone you know. Some classes are listed but are not currently on the schedule for the upcoming year. If your group has an interest we can schedule a date for you.

Large Family Rates are available.

Scout and other large groups of 12 or more are eligible for a group discount, contact us for more information.
