Boy Scout Programs
Members of our staff here at Camp Tonkawa are involved with the Boy Scouts Of America. We are registered Merit Badge Counselors and currently have staff members that are "Eagle Scout", "Life Scout" and are committee members with the Boy Scout organization. This enables us to provide you with certain requirements that you will need to advance in your merits. Many of our regular camp classes offer within them, advancements you can get signed off on.
Special camp sessions can be scheduled just for your troop if there is a certain merit badge, interest project or advancement you would like to accomplish. Just contact us and let us know what you would like. A minimum of 10 scouts is required for a week-end camp, this can be accomplished by sharing a sessions with another troops if your group is small - a great way to share your friendship and knowledge with other scouts. Keep in mind you are always welcome to come and be a part of our regular sessions.
