Camp Tonkawa will customize the event for your special birthday person. Choose from Nature Awareness Party, Native American Indian Party, Primitive Survival Games Party, to our most popular, Horsing Around Party. Call with your details and we will be happy to work out an unforgetable party for you.

Nature Birthday Party

Length of Time: Approximately 2 hours of nature time.

Class Description

Each party varies to the number of people, age, time of year, and length of time the party lasts. You invite your friends or/and family, bring the cake and ice cream, and we provide the fun activities for you and your guests along with the staff to give you a safe fun event.

• NATURE AWARENESS PARTY - Fun activities in the woods to open everyones eyes to the wonder of nature.
• NATIVE AMERICAN INDIAN PARTY - Enjoy playing indians for an afternoon.
• PRIMITIVE SURVIVAL - Games that teach you and your guests how to stay alive.
• GEO-CASHING - Use GPS and compass courses to find the party fun.

DAY EVENTS - 2-3 hour sessions.

12 minimum - $15/person participating

20 + people - $10 /person participating

SLEEP OVER PARTIES can also be arranged, details worked out on an individual basis.

We have had many nature birthdays celebrated at Camp Tonkawa that range from 8 year old picnic parties to 16 year old sleep overs. Let us design one for your special birthday person that will be something different and fun for everyone.

Horsing Around Birthday Party

Length of Time: Approximately 2 hours of horse time. Eating is additional time.

Class Description

Each party varies to the number of people, age, time of year, and length of time the party lasts. You basically invite your friends or / and family, bring the cake and and we provide the horses and staff to give you a safe time with them.

• 2 hour event of Horsing Around Fun. Includes grooming and riding. Afterwards they can picnic or just celebrate on the property for another hour. COST: $45/person if 4 to 6 are in the group. $40/person if 7 to 9 are in the group. $30/person if 10 to 15 in group. ****I.E. less ride time/ less expense per person.
• 3 hour session of Horsing Around Fun. Each person has their own horse for the day. Includes an afternoon Trail Ride. The day can be designed to have a lunch break / party celebration time. COST: $70/person participating. Maximum 6 in the group and minimum 3 (to be considered a party).
• 5 hour session / minimum of 2 people, maximum of 6. COST: $100/person.
• If you have other ideas, just let us know, we would be happy to design that party for you. We can provide camp fire weenie roasts to wine and cheese lunches. Our experience has been with 10 to 50 year old birthday celebrations that will be remembered for a lifetime!!!

Our horseriding birthday parties are a great way for family and friends to get togther to celebrate a birthday in the great outdoors. Adults and children alike enjoy the party

Friday, March 19, the Mohr family came out to celebrate Rachel's birthday by riding horses.  You can schedule your birthday celebration with Camp Tonkawa either with the horses or a Nature Birthday theme.

On April 12th we celebrated the 11th birthday of Galen Vaughan (pictured on the right). Pictured here on the left are his younger brother Connor (5) and cousin Alexandra (3). Not only did the children enjoy the horseriding, but the adults did too, including Galen's grandfather

Brain Wulf just celebrated his 50th birthday at the Camp Tonkawa doing something he's always dreamed of. His wife Debbie organized a three day, family horse riding event to give him his first horseback riding experience of his life! Children Darien (12), Ethan (10) and Kayla (7) all got to enjoy their dad's big event, everyone wanting to come back.
